User defined columns are used for storing temporary information in a record. A user defined column is not related to a database column, does not affect the modified status of a record and is never transmitted to the database.

The name of an user defined column must be a valid C# identifier.

A user defined column is always generated as nullable.

When a recordset has multiple resultsets, the user defined columns will be added to all resultsets.
